In the silent Linden : this blog is a diary about my - Barbara Beeckmans - work as an artist. I work with ink, drypoint, etching, watercolour.
Welkom.

My moon family

thin soft feltpen on copper
and an inspiring reflection of elder tree leaves
sketch for drypoint

this is the keeper of my soul

this youngster will be Parsifal
not far from sharp points of swords

and this is the mother of the immaculate heart

hands like paws covered with fur

4 x words from you and me:

  1. Magical elder leaf reflections, and powerful cat-person soul keeper. You are blessed!

Statement of a folk-musician from Ostfriesland, I heard half an hour ago and wrote it down from my mind and into this comment for you!

  3. Thank you, Valerianna! Dori, I have translated these words :

The ambiguity, even ambivalence in a work of art must be preserved to keep the audience awake. An authenticity police would what constitutes a work of art, namely the non-100% matching, the unmeasurable, restrict too much. If everything is clear the charm of a work of art is lost!
