In the silent Linden : this blog is a diary about my - Barbara Beeckmans - work as an artist. I work with ink, drypoint, etching, watercolour.
Hier kun je ook iets proeven van wat er gebeurt in de stille Linde : het kunsthuis, de droomboom, de stille aanraking van seiki en shiatsu. Welkom.

Mother of the Sea

A man is sitting on the beach, watching the sea and the full moon.
The sea carries the tiny body of a swimmer.

High in the heavens a small boat coming down.

Her giant Soul carries and blesses all of this.

5 x words from you and me:

  1. I could see this drawing as stained glass, beautiful!

  2. I feel joy having the brush with Sepia in my hand filling the white paper with forms playing and watching their development how they come out like being cut out from a stone.
