In the silent Linden : this blog is a diary about my - Barbara Beeckmans - work as an artist. I work with ink, drypoint, etching, watercolour.
Hier kun je ook iets proeven van wat er gebeurt in de stille Linde : het kunsthuis, de droomboom, de stille aanraking van seiki en shiatsu. Welkom.

A bird with strong wings giving shelter

Preparations for a new drypoint print.
Sketch with pen on copper plate.

Every woman can be a huge bird with strong wings
giving shelter to all kinds of living beings,
sensitive beings, like birds and squirrels.

Her wings can give shelter to wise gentle animals

walking old roads

 honouring old ways

giving shelter to what lives in silence next door, old and vulnerable.

3 x words from you and me:

  1. Great plan! You are on the side of the life and the light. Wonderful composition!
The photo of the "Belgium-Street" with the cat (your cat) is totally romantic! I like the other photos, too!
    I am so happy!

  3. Hello Dori, this is not my street and not my cat :-) often I walk there.

Valerianna, I have such a connection with your root people !!! Happy fall Equinox to you, may this fall bring us closer to these roots.
