More ink from the inkstone ...
this I love
making ink with water and stone on stone
the intense lines of the brush

While I am working
I witness this deep friendship
two brothers

for each cat there is a good nice basket
but they prefer embracing one another in their sleep

When I was a little child, there was a huge tower from the 14th century in my life.
I oftend visited this place with my parents,
a very old village sleeping in deep deep peace.
We cycled long ways through silent fields and polders
always the weather in my face.
Growing up in the country without having a car,
now I see this childhood was really blessed.

Once the church of Saint Anna must have been a lighthouse
like all these towers at the coast were.
When the sea still reached the village, many centuries ago
huge fires were lit at night on the top of those towers.
so I've been told ...
Maybe there will come a time when the tower will see the sea again.
I've been there :-) up there :-) only some years ago

the energy of this tower and its landscape is deep strong gentle peace
the tower is still in my life
still very precious, this silent place in the fields is there
I can go there
this was my sky today
a being of light rides a heavenly swan in these clouds
and they are coming down :-)

The drawing holds much intensity - and mystery, I like that I see things emerging here and there I didn't see at first - a cat, a figure by a fence.
ReplyDeleteThe two entwined, furry ones - I can feel them as I run my hands through Pasha's fur here beside me. Makes me feel sorry for Pasha that he hasn't had a kitty friend in several years, but if I tried to find him one, would he like him? Its a risk.. and him being a old kitty, not one I want to take.
Dear Valerianna, Pasha has YOU, I'm sure he thinks you're the greatest kitty friend, he has the forest full of interesting and nice creatures, he even has a WOLF !
ReplyDeleteI see and listen and feel so amazed. What a tale! Dreamy wonderful Grey everywhere!
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful image to hold onto. A tower so very old yet so powerful. How thrilling to be at the top and look out over the blessed sea.
ReplyDeleteA fantastic being of light riding a heavenly swan, extrano! Only eyes that look and see wonder can see these things. Wonderful images!
How wonderful that this tower is both an old fiery lighthouse and the Church of St. Anna! Between that and the ink, this post has made my day.
